Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what personal data CV Zenkool Indonesia ("ZENKOOL", "we") collects through the website zenkool.com, why, and what rights you have. It follows Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022).

Who is responsible

CV Zenkool Indonesia is responsible for the personal data described here. For any question or request about your data, write to zenkoolpipes@gmail.com.

What we collect, and why

When you send a form (quotation request, contact form or distributor application), we collect what you enter:

  • your name, company, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, city and delivery country, and the type of customer you are;
  • the products, sizes and quantities you ask about, your expected monthly volume (distributor applications) and your message;
  • a file you choose to attach to a quotation request.

We use this data only to answer you: to prepare and send a quotation, to reply to your message, to assess a distributor application, and to follow up on that request. The legal basis is your consent, which you give when you send the form, and the steps you ask us to take before a possible contract.

When you visit the website, our hosting and security providers process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the pages and to protect the website against abuse. To limit repeated form submissions, we keep a one-way coded version of your IP address (not the address itself) for about one day.

We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

Cookies and storage in your browser

  • Language: a cookie remembers the language you chose (English or Indonesian) for one year.
  • Quote list: the products you add to your quote list are kept in your own browser until you send or clear the list. They are not sent to us before you send the form.
  • Form progress: a multi-step form keeps what you typed while the browser tab is open.
  • Security: Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie to protect the website and its forms against bots.

Who else processes your data

We use a small number of service providers, who process data only on our instructions:

  • Cloudflare (content delivery, security and bot protection with Turnstile; storage of attached files);
  • Resend (sending the emails that confirm your request and notify our team);
  • the data centre in Indonesia that hosts our server and database.

Some of these providers process data outside Indonesia. Where this happens, we rely on their contractual commitments to protect personal data at a standard comparable to Indonesian law.

How long we keep your data

  • Inquiries and their attachments are deleted automatically 24 months after they were received.
  • Encrypted backups of our database are kept for up to 30 days (daily) and 12 weeks (weekly), after which they are deleted.
  • The coded IP address used against repeated submissions is deleted after about one day.

Your rights

Under Indonesian law you may ask us to:

  • tell you whether we hold personal data about you and give you a copy;
  • correct or complete your data;
  • delete your data or stop processing it;
  • withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing before the withdrawal).

Send your request to zenkoolpipes@gmail.com. We will answer within the period the law requires. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you may also complain to the Indonesian data protection authority.

Security

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Our database is not reachable from the internet, backups are encrypted, and only authorised ZENKOOL staff can see inquiries.

Children

This website is intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when our website or the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
